Daily Duties at Align Med :
To develop, build and maintain a high performance sales organization to effectively achieve business objectives as well as to provide the marketing tools to optimize sales results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Create and implement effective direct sales strategies and lead personnel toward achievement of objectives. 2. Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization focused on Alignmed's Touch Tension Technology. 3. Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development, while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary. 4. Provide/recommend sales management, budget control, compensation programs and incentive planning. 5. Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of in-house call center and outside sales team. 6. Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results. 7. Proactively identify changes in competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly. 8. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts. 9. Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts. 10. Manage the development of key customer relationships. 11. Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Operations, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities. 12. Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies. 13. Attend industry meeting, seminars, and conferences as appropriate. • Managed and built positive working relationships with AlignMed’s esteemed Scientific Advisory Panel, comprised of 18 diverse members in the top of their field as medical clinicians, scientific researchers and professional sports trainers • Successfully directed sales primarily through AlignMed’s e-commerce, Durable Medical Equipment distributors, clinical practitioners, numerous professional sports teams & athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, Motor Cross, Extreme Sports, Downhill Skiing, Olympians, etc, and recommended the Japanese and Brazilian distributors, initially selling 110 Posture Shirts • Supervised and successfully sold at 5 Trade Shows: American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Conference, Health Point Workers Comp Seminar, Arrowhead Health & Wellness Expo, Los Angeles County Fire Department Vendor Day, and Irvine Senior Fitness Expo • Established Corporate Wellness Sales & Marketing Programs and presented to various organizations like American Medical Response (largest Ambulance Service in the US), Facebook, Edwards Lifesciences, Walgreens, Albertsons, LA County Fire Department, etc showing how AlignMed’s Posture Wear could help prevent injuries, manage fatigue, accelerate rehab for their employees and ultimately lower overall workers comp costs while increasing productivity
