Daily Duties at Georgia Pacific :
• Primarily developed and implemented World Class Plant Action Plan, Class Maintenance Action Plan and Inventory Control Action Plan for plant that went Corporate wide that meet ISO 9001:2008 standards • Inventory at $618,000 - budget was $500,000 - Reduced to $535,000 in 10 months • Reduced Vendor cost of the maintenance department over $20,000 in 6 months • Increased uptime through PM Program over 15% • ISO 9001:2008 Audit Committee member, Document controller, • Primary responsibilities are assigning daily work assignments utilizing work orders developed in MP2 (Maintenance record-keeping software program). • Redesign and implement out-dated preventative maintenance program to increase uptime. • Proactive in all safety issues by working closely with Health and Environmental Manager on items needed to ensure safety and to ensure that any issue is immediately resolved. • Work with all department managers to ensure that all machinery is working properly. • Designed and implemented program to increase uptime on all forklifts. • Responsible for purchasing of all parts for projects, inventory and repairs • Obtain and make decisions on quotes for all projects, work with vendors and contractors to obtain quality parts and services as well as cost reduction
