Daily Duties at Rfi Ingredients:
I was responsible for testing all raw materials before the went to production as well as the final products. I focused on ensuring that the products were in fact what they said they were, label claims were correct (such as the amount of Vitamin K was what the product claimed it was) as well that the product was safe for human consumption. I wrote certificates of analysis for all products tested indicating the results obtained on the product. Instrumentation such as HPLC, UV/VIS and FTIR were routinely used to test materials.
