Oversaw all work functions for art departments, including, assisting in completion of job write ups, setups, establishing work flow, informing personnel of work assignments, and inventory of stock/items. • Reviewed work orders to determine ink, stock, and equipment needed for production. Accepted orders, calculated and quoted prices. Reviewed print order to determine settings and adjustments required to set up manually controlled or automatic screen printing machine. • Trained workers in use of printing equipment and in quality standards. Monitored production activities to detect problems such as mechanical breakdowns or malfunctions. Adjusted position of design or screen to ensure specified color print registration. Identified cost improvement and revenue generation opportunities. Executed effective cost control within department. • Handled production work such as laminating, cutting down stock, numbering hangtags and plate making. • Setup Hazard labels for Dupont, Pool and Machinery companies following ANSI standards.
