• Managed, organized, and scheduled 2 departments and 1 large account (Dior) with accountability for all art preparation and prepress printing functions. • Prepressed smaller jobs for the Xpress department (large format and small format digital), which included turning jobs around with in a few hours to a few days. • Developed proficiency with printing labels, mailings, screen printing, lightjet and offset. Performed scheduling of work orders to be processed to ensure efficiently. • Established and implemented departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures. Conferring with senior management and staff members as necessary. Monitored production to ensure the highest quality standards were adhered to, while staying within budgetary limits. Collaborated with customers on product design. Provided recommendations to resolve issues directly affecting productivity. Trained new employees. • Oversaw the Dior account that consisted of managing large offset jobs and the printing of postcards that were set based on postal standards. • Arranged for delivery, assembly, and distribution of supplies and parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules. • Compiled information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, and customer information to understand what resources were needed to meet customer demand. • Examined documents, materials, and products, and monitored work processes, through proofing, printing, finishing and packing to ensure accuracy, and conformance to client specifications. • Revised production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering. • Reviewed activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and improvement.
