Daily Duties at Limited Brands:
The lead accountant for enterprise IT organization of approximately 1,000+ resources, which included the preparation of journal entries, review of the income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliation for audit and monthly reporting to senior executives. • Organized journal entries for accruals/reclasses from three senior financial analysts and reviewed for cost placement accuracy. • Prepared month end account reconciliation of P&L and balance sheet and communicated to senior leadership for financial certification and audit backup. • Developed a project accrual process and template for a Project Manager group of 30+ individuals which minimized accounting errors and reduced the risk of double accruals.
