Daily Duties at Freescale Semiconductor China:

Concurrent with an expat assignment in China and through 2010 in the US, selected to lead direct line and matrix global IT teams responsible for internal manufacturing execution systems and software for optimization, automation, cell control and other functions as well as external factory systems (final mfg and foundry) through Rosettanet PIPs. Supported 2 mega-facilities in China & Malaysia with a team of 5 IT managers & ~ 50 software architects, developers & business analysts located in US & Asia. Reported to Global CIM Director. Oversaw Manufacturing and Business IT operations & systems in the Tianjin factory with an on-site team of ~18 managers and staff and ~22 contractors. Transitioned team to local management. Dual reporting to Asia Regional IT Director & Global CIM Director.
