Daily Duties at Hsbc:

Provide leadership, management, mentoring, training, and performance evaluation to a group of 8 national Team Lead Underwriters, while performing coaching sessions, mid year and annual reviews, and recommended annual salary increases and promotions, or corrective actions or additional training needs. Effectively managing the region's clients, sales staff, and budget. Ensured quality control of loans reviewed to determine credit worthiness, appropriate collateralization, and adherance with company policies, products, and pricing matrices. Reviewed all loans to ensure compliance with Federal and State guidelines (all states). Effectively prepared and submitted daily reports noting areas or trends of concerns, recommended approval and/or declination of all loans reviewed for acquisition in pools of loans ranging from large multi-million dollar pools (larger clients) to smaller pools of $5,000,000 or less (smaller clients). Served a Managing Team Lead for larger volume clients and up to 50 permanent and contractural employees, while on larger loan acquistion pools of loans for securitization by the bank. Managed loan approval limits of Team Leads based on knowledge and performance.
