Daily Duties at Poli Mortgage:

Underwriter for conventional, jumbo and HARP loans for various correspondent investors and brokered loans. Digitally review for regulatory compliance, underwriting requirements and specific investor overlays to ensure high quality final approval packages for the target investor. Approve, suspend or deny applications. Review the file for possible fraud, inconsistencies, eligibility for the program; Help the sales staff formulate optimum applications upon request for different scenarios. Facilitate Mortgage Underwriting submissions keeping abreast of unique requirements and conditions for both MI and the various investors and relevant changes in Agency guidelines and requirements. Initiate timely and effective communications between all interested parties and agents to ensure maximum efficiencies in producing a superior service and product to our borrowers and investors that exceeds quality standards.
