Daily Duties at Port Orange Urgent Care And Town Center Urgent Care:
Assessments of clients presenting for urgent care: men, women or children (ages 6 months to 18 years); perform examinations, including pelvic examinations, if indicated; perform minor surgeries; suture wounds, remove sutures; counsel clients and families. For Advanced Internal Medicine: primary care of clients age 16 years and up. Perform complete examinations, patient and family education, order appropriate laboratory, radiology and other studies. Counsel clients as to results, order medications, adjust dosages as indicated, use electronic medical record. Preceptor for student from Univ of Massachusetts/Boston for NP program.
