Daily Duties at Mt. San Hedrin Municipal Court:

Assistant to the Judge. Supervised and trained volunteers as well as employees. Processed civil, small claims, felonies, misdemeanors, and infraction cases. Maintained the $400,000.00 accounts receivable and prepared accounts payable for County Auditor. Budget preparation, monitoring; balanced daily POAs. Researched, interpreted, and applied all jurisdictional laws. Communicated with various local, State, and Federal law enforcement agencies. Interacted with County Auditor, Judicial Council, and the Department of Motor Vehicles, and other private and public agencies. Maintained legal library. Compiled payroll information. Maintained and prepared the court calendar and took minutes of court proceedings. Retained and prepared monthly statistics as required by Judicial Council.
