Daily Duties at Microphor, A Division Of Westinghouse Air Brake :

Perform document processing and filing using manual or electronic systems per established procedures. Review controlled company-wide documents and blueprints for accuracy and quality. Manage controlled company-wide documents and blueprint libraries and archives. Process Change Orders (ECOs) and Deviations utilizing change control and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. Enter and confirm data entry into the ERP system. Assist in creating BOM Structures, creation of part numbers and routers. Monitor Engineering Change Order and Deviation approval and implementation. Prepare metrics and reports in support of SLAs and other change control activities. Interface with internal customers to convey requirements, resolve issues, and ensure timely processing. Ensure standard practices and procedures are followed. Deliver document change and supporting activities training. Escalate issues and risks to management as appropriate Maintain the Quality System in accordance with ISO 9001:200. Lead ISO auditor. Ensure product meets established quality levels. Responsible for the maintenance of tool calibration system, environmental monitoring, quality records and training system. Perform incoming, in-process and final QC inspections and QA release to support incoming materials, operations and FG. Provide input and follow-up on, CAPAs, DMRs, investigations, validations, Customer Complaints, Audit Reports, and distribution activities; and administrative requirements within the Quality Assurance Department. Chair and facilitate weekly MRB meeting. Prepare and create test and inspection documentation. Prepare and issue Work Instructions and SOPs. Chair weekly Material Review Board meetings. Communicate with customers. Vendor site visits. STRAP (budget) member for two years.
