Daily Duties at The Home For Little Wanderers:
-Directed staff of 8 social service staff and 40 foster parents. -Responsible for identifying, recruiting, and monitoring foster parents to house and parent children with medical needs and are involved with the Department of Child Service. -Increased the program growth from 11 foster parents to 40 by marketing and community involvement. -Manage a 2 million dollar state contract. -Developed, monitor, and control budget and staffing expenses. -Knowledge of state regulations and compliance. -Analyzed and modified compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs. -Ensure compliance with legal requirements. -Coordinated work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment,compensation, labor and employee relations. -Handled under-staffing, disputes, terminating employees and administering disciplinary procedures. -Partnered successfully with Department of Child Service, various community social services programs, Hospitals, parents and foster parents to produce a positive outcome for a child. -Implemented innovative programs to increase employee loyalty and reduce turnover.
