Supervised the creation of a recruiting program for interns by contacting local universities and creating intern programs that adhered to university requirements; coordinated between city officials and minority business owners for “How to Do Business” seminars, which teaches minority business owners in how to submit bids and procurement proposals to the city; coordinated visiting corporate VIP and Government VIP quests who attend Chamber Events, which typically has over 600 attendees; arranged for performers and volunteers at the Asian Festival in Dallas, TX, which typically has over 15,000 attendees; assisted the Director of Corporate and Community Relations with the Chamber’s leadership training program called Leadership Tomorrow; worked with the Director of Events and Marketing to coordinated of events, festivals and seminars.
