Daily Duties at 20th Special Forces Group (Abn) Of The Alabama Army National Guard And Then The Maryland Army National Guard:
I was the Team Commander (Captain) of a 12 man Scuba Team and was responsible for the Team, all equipment, training and missions. Specifically, I had to develop training and other strategic planning processes to align with the goals of the Company Commander. I had to lead my teammates, provide oversight for the Company Commander, review and approve upcoming missions and keep informed of international affairs as well as changing strategies of the U.S. Army. I was responsible for ensuring excellent training on new techniques so we could fulfill our mission as Special Operations Forces. I had to use creative thinking, cooperation, dependence on teammates and support for the Team in order to successfully complete certain difficult missions. I also had to maintain excellent physical conditioning by having the discipline to undergo regular strenuous exercise.
