Consulting with and advising Health Care Companies regarding contracts, Stark Laws, Anti Fraud & Abuse, billing issues, Affordable Care Act issues and Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations. Specifically, examining the legal issues affecting the cash flow of the healthcare company and ensuring the company is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures set forth by any governing body or Joint commission standards so the company can meet or exceed its goals and maintain financial integrity. In addition to keeping up with changes in healthcare law and strictly applying the law, I was responsible for understanding the client's business needs by examining financial statements and major expenses and collaborating with the client to align his goals within the framework of the governing healthcare law.
