Daily Duties at Chipton Ross:
Execute and author various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations that support the definition and documentation of aircraft built configuration both in Manufacturing Projects and Shipside environment Proficient in the navigation and application of PDM, CAPP, OWI, Vista, CATIA V5, ENOVIA, DELMIA, IVT, REDARS-EID, and VELOCITY in support of the creation and revision of planning instructions in the 767 K46-2C Tanker and 787 Aircraft Programs Assist in training and familiarization of Boeing and Contractor personnel for efficient authoring, planning, and revisions of Shipside non-conformance (NC) Shop Order Instances (SOI) and Projects Installation Plans (IP) Perform duties of Checker to ensure the conformance of the written manufacturing instructions in accordance to engineering specifications and manufacturing processes As required, assist Liaison Engineering in the investigation of discrepant airplane non-conformance conditions and development of rework solutions to the discrepancy and incorporate the rework instructions in the manufacturing build plan via the planning system Perform manufacturing interrogation and analysis of 2D and 3D drawings via CATIA, IVT, DELMIA, and REDARS Model Based Definition (MBD) in interpreting the airplane airframe, structural, and wiring design in support of Engineering and Manufacturing requirement in implementing the manufacturing build plan by Production
