Daily Duties at True North Events And Catering:
As Inside sales, I did cold calling and arranged appointments for the outside sales team. As Lead Chef I prepped food for several events at once, loaded the trucks, drove to the event site (or flew if it was out of New England), set up the field kitchen, supervised my volunteer team of helpers, and executed the the event. Following that I broke down the kitchen, reloaded the truck and headed home.
What they like about True North Events And Catering:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.

Climbers who worked at True North Events And Catering had these interests:
Books | |
---|---|
The Magic of Thinking Big | In this classic by David K. Schwartz, PHD, I was led to explore the possibilities of possible changes in my life if I reached for more. |
How to win Friends and Influence People | This book is all about improving our relationships with others by understanding how to correctly communicate and interpret both what we say/hear and how we say/hear it. |
Nora Lofts Novels | I love to read and when I'm not sculpting in my free time I can usually be found with one of her books. |
Magazines | |
Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics | I read this mainly to research food related topics. It deals mainly with the science of food, nutrition, and dietetics. |
Family Circle | Pleasure reading, it includes ways on how to declutter your house, new recipes to try, how to save money on household related items and has 'true stories' of real people doing unusual or admirable activities. |
Websites | |
All Recipes http://www.allrecipes.com |
I use this web site not only for ideas on what to do with a specific food; like a harvest of too much parsley from your garden, but to do large recipe conversions. |
Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics http://www.eatright.org |
I am a member of the Academy and I use it for nutrition updates, government laws that effect nutrition statutes, health alerts and questions, and I also get great ideas on the best way to integrate new foods to family and friends. |
