Daily Duties at Qinetiq North America:
Provides functional and technical support for all ULLSA (E) programs to include Back Shops, Logbook, Production Control, Quality Control, CSSAMO, Decision Support Systems, Deployable Server, AMATS, and Supply: Provide installation of ULLSA (E) related software and hardware: Assist with Maintaining STAMIS on which ULLS-A (E) is loaded and the installation of the software on customer hardware: Provides training as required in Back Shops, Logbook, Production Control, Quality Control, CSSAMO, Decision Support Systems, Deployable Server, AMATS, and Supply: Periodically analyze and validate the integrity of application databases and assist in the resolution of data and related problems: Operate independently as Subject Matter Expert in remote locations to aide customers with ULLSA (E) issues: Provide assistance to the customer in maintaining all forms and records related to Aviation Maintenance in the ULLS-A (E) Program Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software. Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support. Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications; monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults; replacing parts as required;
