Daily Duties at L 3 Communications:
Developed financial models for use in the current audit as well as the next audit about to begin and continue to act as the primary interface between government audit agency and L-3. Directed business area and operations comprised of seven cost analysts and two scheduling managers, generating $300M in annual revenue (1/3 of company revenue) across 150+ separate contracts and diverse programs. Provide critical financial forecasts and perform complex budget and profit analysis, maintaining contractual parameters and abiding by cost control guidelines. Perform EAC and ad-hoc cost analysis and analyze funding profiles, sales outlook, and cost variance. Present findings and reports to executive management and key decision makers. Work cross-functionally with program managers, production team, procurement, and contract leads.
