Daily Duties at Southern California Edison:

Manager Maintenance Performance Improvement Group. Managed a 21 person department. Evaluated and developed performance improvements for the Maintenance Division utilizing the Maintenance Excellence Plan. Two direct report Managers for Cause Evaluations and Performance Improvement. Seven direct reports included Corrective Action Program coordinator (CAPCO). Maintenance program responsibilities included Foreign Material Exclusion (FME), Maintenance Work Hour Rule (WHR), Maintenance Emergency Response Organization (ERO), Maintenance OSHA Safety, Maintenance HU Advocate. Ancillary responsibilities included Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) member, Self-Assessment team leader, Emergent Issues Response Team Leader, and Root Cause analysis Team Leader. Responsible for leading the Corrective Action/Performance Assessment organization to define and execute activities to ensure compliance with NRC and INPO requirements in these functional areas. Collaborates both within and outside the organization. Provide immediate functional management for Corrective Action/Audits/Operating Experience/Self-Assessment/Benchmarking. Provide functional oversight to critical business units associated with corrective action, performance assessment, operating experience, self-assessment and audits. Provide functional management for all root cause analyses. Perform employee appraisals and assist in employee development. Provide input into strategic planning and ensure that the Corrective Action/Performance assessment group business plan supports company goals.
