Daily Duties at Headquarters Air Combat Command Safety, Us Air Force:

Lead consultant on safety issues for 105,000+ personnel at more than 200 locations worldwide; identified as the “go to person” for safety analysis and compliance research. Prepares comprehensive trend analyses by evaluation and examining mishaps, inspection results, and other safety related data to ascertain the overall effectiveness of the mishap prevention program. Selects, interprets, and applies Federal, Department of Defense, Occupational Safety and Health and Air Force instructions to identify, evaluate, and control hazards associated with all work areas and operations. Administers 1200+ reportable mishap investigations annually; maintained the safety management system and ensured on-time abatement of recommendations. Prepares, coordinates, and staffs written safety guidance, instructions and regulations affecting occupational and traffic safety for military installations. Provided 100+ hours of safety related training to 300+ personnel.
