Daily Duties at Napco, Inc:

· Write renewal letters to existing clients indicating the change in the rates for each benefit plan. Develop/modify Excel spreadsheets detailing the rates for any proposed plan design · Work with fully insured and self-funded accounts · Analyze client’s benefit plan designs and costs for efficiency and cost effectiveness in meeting the client’s goals · Handle benefit-related special requests that client(s) may ask of NAPCO · Draft various letters for clients’ use in resolving benefit issues and/or employee communication material · Obtain a signed Business Associate Agreement with each client and provide the necessary HIPAA documents for the fully-insured clients · Work with the Benefits Coordinator on the “request for proposals” (RFP) process for clients. Provide the necessary guidance on client’s goals and objectives, carriers to quote, and specific plan designs · Prepare reports summarizing the results of the market review. Include all pertinent information in the report that assist the client with making the final decision · Present report and results of the market review to the client · Work with the Benefits Analyst to implement the plans and/or carrier changes · Conduct employee meetings to communicate changes to the employees, as needed. If necessary, request carrier representation at meetings to assist with the communication · Keep clients informed of all Group related legislative issues that may affect the Group Health and Welfare benefits program · Assist with the development of the Group Benefits Practice Marketing Plan · Assist with the training of staff members · Maintain/update client/carrier information in Microsoft Outlook program · Proficient knowledge of PPACA / HCR laws and mandates
