Daily Duties at Mc Henry County College:
VMware/vSphere administration: Analysis, design, implementation, troubleshooting and administration of enterprise VMware ESX/ESXi environments. Monitor, tuning, documentation and reports update firmware, patches, & version upgrades. Proactively address network, storage, or system performance issues. Equal Logic San Administration; Responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting, capacity planning and the creation of new LUNS for the storage environment. Communicate with peers and managers regarding storage administration issues. System Administration: Install and maintain hardware and software on servers. Configuration and maintenance, Active Directory maintenance, network GPO’s creation, modifications for logins. Perform Windows system administration to include troubleshooting incidents or problems elevated at a higher level of expertise. Daily Monitors and maintains systems infrastructure stability and availability.
