Daily Duties at National Institute Of Science Technology & Development Studies:
Conducted independent R&D Management studies pertaining to biotechnology both in Indian and in global perspective using quantitative and qualitative tools such as - Science Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index (both published by Institute for Scientific Information), DERWENT World Patent Index. Studies also involved formulating analytical questionnaire, conducting interactive interviews and discussions with the science professionals: both in academic research as well as in industrial research as a useful measure for evaluating areas of biotechnology research trends. Conducted independent research under the supervision of a principal investigator completely on the research fellowship awarded to me. Primary goal of this research project was to evaluate the transfer of basic knowledge in biotechnology from university to industries over the past two decades and its impact on Indian and global economy.
