Daily Duties at Energy Recovery Inc:

ERI Manufactures Energy Recovery Devices for Desalination. The company is vertically integrated with a Ceramics plant and a machine shop for 2 Production lines with over 100 variations. At ERI, I was a master scheduler for 7 years. I created the Master Schedule from the sales forecast that was provided. Released jobs to floor based off schedule, released dispatch lists and followed jobs through shop to ensure schedule was met. Tracked shortages and rescheduled work orders based off of material arrival dates Reported to Director of production if there were problems meeting the schedule and came up with solutions to get schedule back on track. I wrote custom reports to perform critical analysis of Utilization, Efficiency and through-put in order to identify where process improvements could be discussed with Production Engineering to improve cycle times. Maintained all routings with process changes and cycle time changes. I helped the cost accountant to understand what drove the costs of work orders and reviewed work order variances at month end and closed work orders. I Reviewed BOM’s for accuracy and fed information back to Engineering when I found problems that needed to be corrected. I created flow charts and published SOP’s for the production, material handling and quality depts. I Supervised the Material Handling & Assembly Dept. for 4 years. I oversaw the physical Inventory for 6 years and started the cycle count program that within 2 years achieved 99.9% accuracy.
