Daily Duties at Novartis:

• Propel growth and profit by successfully calling-on, educating, selling and servicing accounts in a highly competitive market • Customize delivery of product messages (e.g. anatomy, physiology, disease state, and treatment options) to accommodate clients individual needs • Plan and execute National KOL speaker programs, in-service lectures, programs, work with local medical groups • Stay current with the latest information on various diseases, treatments, and pharmacological/medical device uses and efficacy for maximum sales results • Foster cross functional collaboration and teamwork with Management and Sales to develop, implement and assess customer specific business plans, resulting in increased sales and strengthening partnerships between Community and Academic Physicians • Successfully completed Management training program: trained and mentored new hires on product, sales strategies, reimbursement, office base settings, competitor information and more. • Facilitate reimbursement/managed care discussions with external customers focusing on billing, coding, Medicare-B and “buy & bill” • Developed and implemented infusion protocols and referral pathways for Reclast infusions • Educate nursing staff on infusion process, serve as an ongoing resource to infusion center, ensuring optimization of all processes and procedures
