Daily Duties at Wells Fargo:
Review, analyze, approve and underwrite large, unusual complex loans. Depend on division and complexity of underwriting functions. Review financial statements, credit reports and applicable ratios. Evaluate, examine transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure documentation is accurate and consistent. Uphold company and industry guidelines. Review credit, asset and income documents for inaccuracies. Review personal and business tax returns. Re-negotiate loans based on lending guidelines. Gather information to make an appropriate decision. Explain rationale behind credit decision in writing. Audit Conventional, FHA and VA loans files for compliance and guideline deficiencies Review various retail loans transactions to ensure they comply with company guidelines. Review credit, asset and income documents for inaccuracies. Review personal and business tax returns. Re-Calculate debt to income based on loan program parameters. Confirm asset documentation was sufficient for closing fees and reserves. Confirm loans were underwritten to lender and investor guidelines. Counsel all underwriters on any related findings from audit review.
