My role in this company was to take care of the day to day managemet of the Racing Team, press releases and raising monies through corporate sponsorships for Team operations. In charge of developing a sponsorship package in order to market the team to large corporations for fund raising purposes. I was in charge of negotiating contracts with Nutrition companies, wheels, tires, clothing , helmets, water bottles and misc. supplies. I was in charge of negotiating salaries for all the riders(12), the soigneur and the mechanic. A total of $225,000 of the $450,000 went to salaries the rest went to airfare, vehicle expenses and accommodations. Other responsibilities, registering the team with the Union Cyclist International. Setting up a 501c3 to help the team raise money for Cancer., Graphic design of team clothing, bicycles, wrapping the team van. Logistics for extensive domestic traveling. Hiring support staff for the supports of the team. I had one Assistant Director.
