Daily Duties at Clearview Health And Rehabilitation:
Duties included overseeing one of three buildings with a census of 126 residents as opposed to two other units in another building with census of 40 and 63 with their own ADON's as well. In charge of all staff ( approximately 20 LPN's and 40 CNA's, ward clerks, charge nurses) Working directly under DON's (3 in the time I was there). Auditing all charts of all residents Auditing all psychotropic medications Auditing all restraints Auditing all Foley Catheters Overseeing QOC meetings weekly Working with all ancilary departments giving care to my residents such as Dietary, RA, PT, Wound Care team, Social Services, Staffing, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Human Recources, ect Inservicing all CNA's and Licensed nurses monthly and PRN. Inservicing ward clerks PRN Working with Physicians, PA's, NA's daily, assisting in the care of all residents. Daily rounds checking on all residents and overseeing their needs. Working with the families of all residents if there were problems or any needs. Attending meetings daily with all ancilary staff and Administration. Investigating falls, injuries, and residents to be sent out to hospitals. In charge of all codes and inservices with staff after each code. Educating staff and residents on their diagnosis.
