Daily Duties at Southeastern University:

For purposes of fundraising analysis and Board reporting, I was the primary overseer of the Alumni/Donor/Prospect Database and responsible for and managing all alumni coordinated events and relations. Ensured data effectiveness through quantitative and qualitative reporting. I wrote a strategic plan for the Office of Development that linked with and supported the University’s overall strategic plan. This involved conducting research, analyzing the information, writing concepts and critically reviewing concepts to align the information with the already established concepts and directives of the University. Developed the annual operating plan for the Office of Development with measurable outcomes, increased overall alumni participation by 20%, and developed alumni recruitment plans. An identifiable and measurable result of my fundraising efforts was reflected in increased monetary revenues of $20k within a 2-year period. In addition, I implemented a robust fundraising strategy that generated over $500k that was accomplished through corporate and foundation support, capital campaigns and individual giving. Assisted with the planning and coordination of four (4) Annual Galas with approximately 200-450 guests and ensured that events positioned the school in the community. Mentored and developed student populations, provided administrative and technical support to the Office of the President regarding accreditation strategies and special events. Established and fostered Instituted Alumni relations and external relations to boost marketing and create individual and corporate support. I wrote the Raiser’s Edge Training Manual and created coding system for the electronic database. Responsible for creating multiple financial reports for the Office of the President and the Board of Trustees and managed a mass e-mail distribution within and outside of the University and local community.
