Daily Duties at Graduate School Usa:

I was responsible for the management, coordination and execution of duties and training management responsibilities in support of multiple senior leadership development training programs and courses at the Center for Leadership and Management. I provided expert knowledge of a broad range of instructional planning methods and techniques sufficient to independently plan total support requirements. I functioned as a staff facilitator, training consultant, and advisor responsible for monitoring completion of training, leader development and individual training projects and assignments. Prepared, maintained and updated a wide range of documents that included curriculum materials, project deliverables and assignment scheduling and dates. Exercised judgment in coordinating activities, priorities and deadlines, initiate actions to identify and resolve potential program and/or student issues and problems. Researched curriculum issues and gather information used in contract proposals and the analysis of programs for multiple projects involving major contracts. I was the Program Specialist for two leadership programs: Executive Leadership Program and Executive Potential Program. Both of these programs are designed for General Schedule employees in grades 11 through 15 and provide training based on the Office of Personnel Management established leadership competencies and Executive Core Qualifications. Collaboration was done with inter-agencies and other federal government entities to propose multiple initiatives that could be incorporated to provide more efficient and effective training. Professional internal and external contacts were made to plan, coordinate work efforts, obtain and exchange advice, information and assistance. When required, I made necessary contact with other sources to gather and analyze information on various cities/hotels (such as conference room fees, hotel lodging costs, etc.) to determine the most cost effective location to hold training and logistical requirements. Evaluated and adjusted programming scheduling as necessary, made logistical arrangements for course classrooms and ensured that classroom facilities layout was conducive to participant learning. I initiated certificate programs that provided necessary skills and development tools that would prepare unemployed individuals for potential jobs. I facilitated and participated in instruction on resume writing, interviews, professional etiquette and job preparation. Implemented customization of training materials based upon evaluative outcomes of a 360 degree Leadership Effectiveness Inventory. Maintained working relationships and worked to resolve inquiries and respond to complaints from participants of established teams of Aspiring Leader Program and New Leader Program, which were additional leadership development programs for General Schedule employees in grades 4-11. Maintained and built foundational relationships between faculty, instructors and federal government agency coordinators through communication, work efforts and interactions. By demonstrating professionalism and leading by example, I continued to model the way for future leaders.
