Daily Duties at Nci Inc.:
Maintain network and infrastructure systems, which include Routers, Switches, and Hubs. Provide system administration of Network and communication systems, including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. Maintain required knowledge of the organization's hardware, software and network components. Consult with and advised network users. Coordinate network administration and performance requirements with others in the information systems function. Identify, analyze and document long-range requirements and request resources related to the enterprise network. Responsible for configuration management and documentation of network and system topologies. Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions. Plan for and provide reasonable responsiveness in terms of system performance. Prepare activity and progress reports regarding the network performance. Track network outages and coordinates troubleshooting and corrective actions. Have a working knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, and networking monitoring systems. Have experience in the operation of network management tools such as Spectrum and Cisco Works. Provide technical and customer support to 600+ project employees. Experience in troubleshooting Help Desk issues which includes Windows NT/2000/XP and MS Office Suite.
