Daily Duties at L&M Technologies:
Provided System Administration Support for MS 2000 and MS XP, Database Administration in SQL2000, and System/Network/Technical Support. Responsible for the planning, maintenance and development of databases. Responsibilities include the following: establishing the needs of users; planning for a new or revised database; considering both 'back end' organization of data and 'front end' accessibility for end users; refining the 'physical design' to meet system storage requirements; testing new systems; controlling access permissions and privileges; training users; meeting users' access requirements and resolving their problems; ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly; providing technical support for outdated 'legacy' systems; communicating regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure the database integrity and security; installing new applications.
