Leadership role with responsibility in the operational and research activity of the lab Responsible for hiring personnel and supervision of lab technician Helped with analyzing and interpreting data from various research projects in the lab Wrote protocols for obtaining human blood (normal and HIV+ patients), and submitted applications for IRB approval. Supervised the construction of the BSL3 lab. Trained students, technicians and postdoctoral fellows in daily usage of the BSL3 lab. Participated in lab safety meetings.
