Daily Duties at Humigen Llc:

Biomarker & Drug target identification: autoimmune diseases and cancer As a Senior scientist, leadership role with responsibility in the operational and research activity Supervised students, technicians and junior PhD scientists Responsible for hiring personnel and chaired various administrative committees Research activities included identification of biomarker in SLE, IBD, RA and Asthma. Technologies used to identify biomarkers are Flow cytometry (phenotyping of PBMC and T-cell activation markers), RT PCR (gene expression & miRNA) and Biacore (serum components, T-cell activation markers, B-cell activation markers). Collaborated with clinical scientist for this project. Drug target discovery for prostate cancer Team work with other research groups in biomarker discovery and drug target discovery I am not authorized to reveal any specifics on these projects.
