Daily Duties at Emerson Network Power Embedded Computing:

Manage component assignments by working within established AVL/APL and assist Commodity Management as required to modify AVL/APL, identify and release components coordinating efforts with other internal organizations. Manage HDD, DRAM and Flash-based technology, embedded storage, 3rd party boards (CPU, I/O, storage) and assemblies, and other active, passive, and electromechanical components as required. Be actively involved in latest technology roadmaps in support of NPI, sustaining active products, and EOL management by reacting to supplier PCNs for component replacement. Work as team member in EOL Management group and attend meetings providing status on component replacement and EOL issues. Prevent any interruption to factory production by providing continuous flow of required components. Maintain latest technology roadmaps to remain current on industry trends and present to all company organizations, act as adviser to internal and external organizations for requirements, provide leading edge components that meet design requirements technically as well as cost by identifying best-in-class suppliers.
