Daily Duties at Butler Police Department:

Developed and directed the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the department, and prepared department’s budget. Planned and evaluated performance of sworn and non-sworn staff through subordinate levels of supervision. Allocated available resources and calculated program and service delivery. Created and implemented strategic plans to meet city’s current and long-range needs. Key Accomplishments:  Provided training and professional development  Ensured laws, ordinances and policies were consistently enforced, and authorized discipline as needed  Oversaw all city police functions, including community-oriented policing, patrol, crime prevention, investigation, traffic enforcement, school services, dispatch, and records  Directed of major crimes investigations, collaborating with other law enforcement agencies; aligned City Attorney and District Attorney in preparation of cases  Worked closely with the mayor City Council, other City departments, and a variety of public and private organizations and citizen groups in developing programs and executing projects to maximize police services
