Daily Duties at West Publishing/West Group:
Responsibilities included installation and maintenance of phone systems as well as associated adjuncts such as voice mail systems, Call Management Systems and T1/DS3 circuits. Managed and maintained campus copper and fiber backbone at the headquarter location. I was involved with West's global network infrastructure team to develop future direction of technology. Acted as supervisor for three technicians to perform daily move, add, and change work for the company. Project lead on various remote installations of PBX and adjunct equipment. Managed and negotiated equipment billing and statements. • Responsibilities included implementation at a remote office in San Francisco to include replacement of existing Nortel system with an Avaya G3 system for over 200 stations. • Responsibilities included for implementation at a new remote office in Cleveland to support 400 stations. Work included installation of Avaya PBX, voice mail system and installation of riser cabling for a three story building of 100pr per floor.
