Daily Duties at Walmart Pharmacy:
1) Preparing medication orders from physicians and assessing for drug-drug/drug-food interactions 2) Applying pharmacotherapeutic knowledge by counseling patients regarding their drug regimens and recommending over the counter medications 3) Maintaining a safe and clean work environment 4) Responsible for training and supervising pharmacy staff, students, and interns 5) Maintaining drug inventory including rotation of inventory, processing outdates, and ordering new stock 6) monitor pharmacy associates performance and providing constructive feedback to pharmacy manager and pharmacy district manager 7) make recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, and termination of pharmacy associates 8) ensuring the staff as a whole presents itself in a professional and courteous manner
