Daily Duties at Gateway:
Hired to run the direct-to-consumer business with a P&L of over $1B and to help expand Gateway into consumer electronics business that included Plasma TVs, digital cameras, wireless routers, MP3 players and DLP projectors to name a few. Responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing and operations for the direct-to-consumer business. Managed 3 company owned inbound call centers with 1500 sales associates and CSRs. Responsible for all direct channels of distribution and sales including over 300 company owned stores and www.gateway.com. Responsible for a total marketing spend of over $125M spread across DRTV, catalog, direct mail and online marketing.
