Daily Duties at Delta Environmental:
-Supervise Environmental Technician staff. Train in environmental sample collection, drinking water and wastewater facilities operation, data analysis, and ensure 100% compliance of client contracts and regulations for DEQ and DHS. -Develop and track complex route collection schedule for over 100 PWS in compliance with all DHS guidelines. - Provide contract operation for wastewater clients including maintenance, sampling and reporting under WPCF permits. - Develop SWPCP plans for industries including BMP’s, site assessment, sampling, reporting, and tracking. - Experience with regulations under NPDES, WPCF, SWPCP, DEQ, Federal, and state laws of Oregon. - Wrote field safety manual for Environmental Technician staff under OSHA guidelines. Implemented environmental health and safety protocols for site specific projects with ARMY Core of Engineers, Lane County, City of Eugene, City of Springfield, and many large companies. -Lead and developed project management for contracts. Items included budget, time, scope, scale, and follow up responsibilities. Laboratory •Coordinate sampling schedules, containers, and chain of custody with laboratory staff at Delta Environmental Services. •Observational bench training with all relevant waste water and drinking water testing. (e.g) Nitrate, Arsenic, Lead, Copper, BOD, TSS, O & G, Coliform Bacteria, Alkalinity. •Work with LIMS system for data input and tracking of samples and results to be reported.
