Daily Duties at Best Buy:
Responsible for 5 supervisors and 100 employees. Responsible for all HR duties for these employees and their development. On a daily basis interacted with both Supervisors and employees on training needs and areas of improvement and development. Worked weekly with Supervisors on staffing needs and team personnel development. Coached and supported Supervisors on their monthly business plans and how to improve their outcomes. On a daily basis was responsible for customer interactions and new sales development. On a daily basis was responsible for difficult customer situations and resolving problems in favor of both the customer and BestBuy. Was responsible for weekly planning of Supervisor and Manager meetings, its content and execution of any new corporate directives and trainings. On a weekly basis was responsible for executing weekly merchandising standards and setting and executing the new weekly ad set. Was responsible for outside new employee recruitment and development and maintain a talent bench that would meet our future needs. Was responsible for community development for the store on a daily basis while developing new community partners and planning store community activities for community involvement. Was responsible for planning district events such as Day after Thanksgiving sales and Tax free event.
