Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin Is&Gs Defense:

Manage and lead 12 personnel in Afghanistan as a site lead to include monitoring key performance indicators and providing analysis to inform strategic business decisions. Develop and maintain business rules for functions and processes. Provide leadership assistance and support for department personnel. Support for internal and external reporting and provide interpretation of intelligence surveillance systems to support the United Stated Army Special Forces in Afghanistan which involves the collection, processing, and dissemination of intelligence while coordinating and gathering operational data. Assist in mission planning, coordinating data collection requirements while utilizing workforce resource allocation and forecasting. Perform software installations, upgrades, and maintenance for standard configurations on designated equipment and workstation platforms to include networks and data analysis. Job requires skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access. Personally rerouted and rewired power distribution on site to make site safe from electrical hazards. Function as a Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS) mission camera sensor operator for extended overseas deployment in support of real world operations. Assemble potential target information; locate forces and potential hostile defense locations. Operate and monitor detection systems by searching for, acquiring and identifying objects. Conduct and present comparative aerial video imagery and analysis. Responsible for the utilization of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). Perform launch and recovery of the Aerostat and ensure safe, effective and efficient flight objectives are achieved. Monitor Flight, Platform, Payload, and Avionics Data to ensure safe flight and operations of the Aerostat. Perform maintenance and trouble shot Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), high reliability soldering, fiber optic analysis, fusion splicing, electrical/electronic systems, hydraulic systems, electrical mechanical systems, through reading, interpretation of engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. Operate and maintain electronic equipment: MX-20 camera system, radio frequency (RF) telemetry, fiber optic transmission and video distribution/recording systems. Use test equipment, calibrate and align equipment, and perform general housekeeping and corrosion control. Monitor Weather daily through the Air Force station and on site weather equipment. Perform Helium top offs and purity testing. Perform weekly and monthly scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Aerostat and all ground support equipment to include forklift, gator, high lifts (JLG), generators, and electrical/electronic test equipment. Use power, video and data distribution equipment including: high voltage lines and transformers, phase, current, and voltage monitoring, ground fault protection circuits, amplifiers, coaxial cables, video monitors, video converters, microprocessor controlled video switchers, modems, line drivers, serial ports, parallel port, termination of both multi-mode and single mode fiber-optic conductors and modems. Information is transferred through a Tether system. Perform quality assurance inspector to assigned areas and associated major components and sub-components, before, during, and after testing and pre/post launch operations for compliance with company and customer requirements
