Daily Duties at Donlen :

• Responsible for overseeing all accident claims management, and liable for the organization’s fleet management overall • Manage reporting of all metrics and analysis of profit vs. loss numbers on all fleet units • Supervise the DOT compliance and reporting as it relates to the company’s fleet vehicles • Administer and maintain all fleet department budgets, and streamline department procedures for maximum efficiency • Oversee that the accident claims process is accurate and reliable, and assist in the recovery of any claims overpayments • Perform authentic accident scene reconstruction to determine liability on claims brought forward for review, and assist up fitters on large incidents to re-construct/re-engineer the vehicle • Conduct a thorough evaluation in order to deny or settle on claims made, and authorize appropriate payments to routine/casualty claims based on warranty, coverage, assessment and verifiable damages • Prepare and maintain all documentation on claims assessments and report on all investigation outcomes • Maintain good public relations strategies and swiftly deal with inquiries and correspondence with all policyholders/claimants, witnesses, authority figures and attorneys to assemble materials required to support contested claims in court proceedings • Partner with internal teams and insurance agents for subrogation activities including the ID/research of subrogation claims • Develop and sustain strong relationships with all external vendors, and 3rd party service providers • Design and execute on all quality assurance, safety programs and vehicle & equipment preventive maintenance programs
