Daily Duties at Icon Plc:

Conducted study specific events; such as ECGs, vitals, blood draws, and meals; on time and in concordance with standard operating procedures. •Followed good clinical practices while screening participants and performing the following clinic functions: ECGs, vitals, critical and non-critical meals, phlebotomy, urine and fecal collection, administration of test articles, and height/weight/BMI checks •Utilized excellent time management while performing multiple time sensitive clinical events daily •Accurately documented data gathered from study related events •Trained clinic staff on vitals, meals, height/weight/BMI, urine specimen collection, and restroom monitoring procedures •Worked in the clinical laboratory processing blood samples per their specific protocol guidelines, as well as reconciled and packaged samples •Fostered strong relationships between the clinic’s staff and the study participants •Developed well rounded knowledge of other positions by assisting in quality assurance coordinator and the clinical research coordinator •Dosed study participants with test article per study protocol and with the supervision of the study manager and physician •Kept study participant medical and personal information private, following all HIPPA regulations •Utilized safety precautions and good clinical practices in accordance with Blood Born Pathogen training
