• Responsible for directing staff and operations of the production department to meet schedule, cost & quality objectives • Supervision of the production team members, including organization & prioritization of work assignments • Supervised the tasks of others, including ongoing performance appraisal, guidance & motivation of team members • Identified individual performance goals, annual performance reviews, creation of job descriptions, hiring, disciplinary actions • Problem solving & improvement of manufacturing systems & processes • Developed and expanded the capabilities of the production operators • Educated staff for work cleanliness & safety • Assisted with managing a team for optimal job performance & growth of the production • Ability to lead by example with strong supervisory skills
