Daily Duties at The Brookings Institution:

Project management experience with Opportunity 08, Brookings 2008 presidential campaign project; experience included grant-writing, event planning and administrative management. Served as the Acting Congressional Relations Liaison to The Institution, organized public and private briefings between Brookings staff and members of Congress. Organized and coordinated additional government affairs projects and materials for the institution. Maintained a congressional and government affairs contact database, tracked ongoing and proposed legislation and conducted congressional and federal research. Integral and active participant to the leadership and coordination of a fifteen-person communications staff. Experienced in public relations, developing web content press writing, media relations and event planning.
