-Manage retail pharmacy within a community health clinic staffed by one pharmacist and two pharmacy technicians [260-300 Rx/day 8 hour shift] -Promote medication adherence for HIV-positive patient population through innovations in refill scheduling and collaboration with infectious disease specialist providers -Extensive coordination with team of social worker/case manager colleagues to meet the monthly medicine needs of uninsured and under-insured patients through distribution of various grant monies for copay assistance -Oversee all purchasing from dual accounts with wholesaler McKesson, including a 340b [Public Health Service] account -Clinical review of patients' electronic medical records for management of medication therapy in partnership with prescribing physicians, nurse practitioners physician assistants and registered nurses
