Daily Duties at Infosys Technologies, Ltd:
Reporting to the Head of Global Technology Consulting, I was responsible to drive the strategic direction of the Service Line by identifying the role that specific technologies will play in its future growth as well as to manage, deliver capable, proven, enterprise-level services and solutions to customers and partners across Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management. I was mandated to developed and manage deep competency capabilities in Open Source and Microsoft.NET/J2EE, Oracle, SalesForce and other mainstream and emerging technologies such as Wireless and RFID and to leverage open and proprietary methodologies, based on industry best practices, in disciplines such as innovation program management and solution architecture and to lead complex application development consulting engagements with clients and partners. As a Technology Officer for Infosys Global Technology Consulting, I was also responsible to build and manage the revenue of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Practice team in North America that consisted of 87 Enterprise/SOA Architects and delivered 130000 hours of large scale Enterprise Integration, ESB implementation, Advisory Services and Business Process Orchestration and Re-engineering projects in 2006.
